Stuart is head of Osbornes’ award winning personal injury department and the firm’s managing partner.
Since joining Osbornes in 1994 Stuart has built a heavyweight injury litigation practice, specialising in brain and complex injury cases. He is “incredibly empathetic and very knowledgeable about traumatic brain injury” (Chambers UK, 2019).
In that time he has also grown the department into one of London’s leading PI teams, noted for its “exceptional service, great knowledge and understanding of the law, excellent client care and tactical nous” (Chambers UK, 2019), and now combines running both the department and the firm.
Stuart was elected to the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers’ National Executive Committee in 2007 and served for nine years, including three years as APIL’s elected company secretary, and is a Fellow of APIL.
He was also a member of the Law Society’s policy making body the Law Society Council and its Civil Justice Committee from 2010 to 2013, and in 2019 was elected to the Trustee Board of the London Cycling Campaign.
