Kim is a partner within Irwin Mitchell Edinburgh office and leads the Complex Personal Injury team in Scotland. She has extensive experience of all types of personal injury work and is both accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law and a Fellow by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

She is also a member of the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL), a representative for the Law Society on the Ogden Working Party and was a Convenor of the Civil Justice Committee for the Law Society from 2009 - 2019.

As Chair of ‘Restoring the Balance of Justice’, Kim helped lead a campaign involving national and international experts and campaigners aiming to overcome barriers to justice in Scotland for victims of stalking and harassment.

Kim is also Irwin Mitchell’s Historic Abuse claims specialist and a panel member and Executive Director of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers (ACAL).
